I usually use 800x600, but recently switched temporarily to 1024x768 to
try it. (I'm thinking of buying Photoshop Elements 4, which requires
this resolution.)
When I switched back to 800x600 I found that my brightness/contrast,
size adjustments and refresh rate settings had all been lost. All had to
be reset. Is this normal and, if not, how can it be avoided? All the
settings except for the refresh rate had been set using the buttons on
the monitor itself.
I am running WinXP Home, SP2.
Monitor: ViewSonic G70f (CRT), showing as a Plug and Play Monitor on
Radeon 9250, using a Microsoft driver. I did not install the ViewSonic
software or drivers.
I would be most grateful if anyone could shed light on this.
