screen resolution per user in xp home

i have multiple users setup in my windows xp home edition
and am trying to figure out how to make each user
profile "remember" the screen resolution selected by each
user. it doesn't seem to save this particular
configuration setting. anybody know what's going on?

That's just the way they designed it. You can get various little
programs or scripts to add the functionality you desire though.
