Hi,
I'm connecting to a XP pro sp-2 machine from a machine running Fedora Linux.
I can connect with no problems, but I can only get a 8-bit low resolution
screen. I've tried to use the display properties dialog on the Xp machine but
the slider for increasing the screen resolution is locked. The help file
explains how to change it from a XP client, but doesn't give any details on
the syntax that might help me from a non- windows client
Thanks

Check the -a parameter for rdesktop, set it to 24 for 24bit, 16 for 16bit,
etc. "man rdesktop" will give you the full information on all the options to
rdesktop
