I have a Dell Inspiron I6400 with an Intel Core2 processor (1.67 GHz) and
2046 MB of RAM, running Windows Vista (32-bit). I don't really know enough
about screens and graphics to describe what I have, or where to look to find
that out. But, every once in a while, and particularly after closing the
notebook to make it sleep, when I open the computer the screen is pulled
horixontally and everything is stretched wide, making round icons elliptical
and words look squat. Sometimes the screen sort of restarts and resizes to
normal; other times it persists like this even through several restarts.
Anyone have any suggestions?
