Screen Problems =[.

Okay so I'm having a little problem.
I just got this new laptop and I've been using it for a couple of months and
everything worked fine until one day I turn it on and BOOM! Everything just
kinda looks like I'm workin on a wide screen, you know it all just looks
bigger and well wider.
I've been trying everything I can think of to fix it and nothing is working,
and it's really starting to annoy me. Terribly!
So if anyone has any suggestions or ANY advice, I'd be really gratefull.

Hello, this is probably due to the display running at a non-native screen
resolution.

If you right click on an empty area of the desktop and go to Personalize ->
Display Settings and then try changing the resolution slider, typically the
setting furthest to the right will be the native resolution.

Hopefully that points you in the right direction. :-)

Before I say anything else I want to thank you for the advice, but when I try
to change the resolution setting you know how there's a slider thing, well
that won't move. At all. And if the native setting was furthest to the right,
as you say it should be, then this might very well be the problem because the
slide is all the way to the LEFT.....
And it won't move..... =[.
