screen moving

my screen is moving, just isn't still.
As if my refresh rate is at 40 Hz or so.
It's not flikkering but moving!!!

I have an ASUS P4G8X mobo with ATI/sapphire radeon 9700 non pro

Installing latest drivers only gives me more zjid like restarting computer
or no screen at all.

Smartgart already disabled, just like ATI should be........

My monitor is an IIYama 404 vision master but as XP keeps telling me the
driver is not XP comp. I have it on my system as a standard monitor running
at 85 Hz.

Does anyone know whats going on or do I just cut my loss & return to
nvidia......
 
I had one that was doing the same thing it turned out to be a bad
monitor.It would move like it was jumping to one side or the other
sometimes and some games wouldn't work right i got a new monitor and
everything works great now :)

Try reseating your vid card.
 
Look for something close by which can be generating a magnetic or
radio field such as a florescent desk lamp, a fan, or something else
with a motor or ballast. (move setup to a different location and see
if it happens there also)
