Screen Locked

I have a really strange issue. My server is locked. When I ctrl-alt-delete
all I get is an hour glass. I've been having this issue for the past couple
of days. Eveything is running fine on the server other than this. This
reoslved yester by waiting severla hours. Any idea on the cause or a
resolution to the problem.

Try rebooting the machine, preferably from some networked PC.
