Screen is not filling my monitor size?

Hi, How do I alter my screen size so that it re-fits the
size of my monitor. I accidently and inadvertantly
messed with the buttons on the actual monitor which
change the size and shape of the screen and I cannot get
it to go back by pressing them again. I just want it
back to normal, it has been like this for about a week
and I cannot read the things on the internet properly,
some of them go off the page.

Any help would be appreciated, if anyone knows what I am
going on about.

Right-click your desktop, properties, settings tab, slide the screen resolution to
more. If this doesn't work, look through your monitor manual for settings, or go to
the web site and look through the manufacturer's support documents. Look around for a
newer driver too.
Do you have a degauss button? If so press it and see if that solves the problem.

Try decreasing your screen resoluton.

I know exactly what you're going on about! Your monitor should have buttons
to access it's controls. You need to adjust the vertical and horizontal size
of the image. Just use those to fill the screen and you might also need to
adjust the position.

What make is your monitor?
