Screen gets fuzzy ONLY when IE is open

For some reason, when I open an IE window, my screen gets
these fuzzy lines that dance accross it. There are
absolutely NO speakers, or magnets, or wires around my
monitor, so I know it isn't noise, plus, it only happens
when I have IE open. The rest of the time, it is ok!
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this???? I would
love to not get a headache while surfing!

Do the lines appear when you use another browser, such as Mozilla?
