screen from a vertical to a horizontal position

I accidentally moved my screen from a vertical to a horizontal position, how
do I change it back to normal?

chances are you accidently pressed a key combination on your keyboard

eg CTRL ALT R or similar

have a look at the icons in your system tray, right click the ati/nvidia
icon and choose to stop the rotation and turn of those annoying quick keys
