Hello

I've just upgraded my PC from Win2k Professional to XP Professional. The
hardware has stayed the same (notably, Shuttle SM41g with on-board GeForce4
MX graphics & Philips 150s LCD flat screen monitor).

I've put on what I believe to be the current drivers for the above, but find
that if I set the resolution to 1024x768 I get a flickering, "heat shimmer"
effect.

This didn't happen with Windows 2000.

Can anybody suggest some steps I can perform?

Thanks in anticipation.

Make sure that the LCD is set to the default resolution, set
the refresh rate at the recommended rate by Phillips, many
LCDs are slower than a CRT and trying to refresh at too high
a rate will lead to problems.
Update the graphics driver to be sure you have an XP driver.
