Screen flashes

On IE 6 (not on IE 7 or Firefox), I get an occasional screen flash
(blink) when I rapidly mouse up and down over three menu items. Does
anyone have a hint on how to prevent this? The url is
www.festivalnetwork.com/events.php, and if you go rapidly up and down
over the menu items in EVENTS, it happens.
 
I can get the same thing to occur here (WinXP, IE 6 SP-2), but have to
really work at it. I really don't see a problem here as the typical user
won't do this.

It is a problem because it was pointed out by the customer.
