Chances are, something in your table is stretching the table. That is the
only reason a table set to 100% width would extend beyond the edge of the
window.

Big things are made up of
lots of little things.

We're having problems creating web pages that display completely on the
WIDTH without the need for a horizontal scroll bar. Frankly we thought that
by using a TABLE with 'specify width in percentage' set at 100% should cure
the problem. We thought the web page would auto adjust to fit 100% of the
screen regardless of the monitor resolution. This does not resolve the
problem.

We operate with 2 monitors. One is an NEC 5FGe (1024 x 768) and the laptop
display (1900 x 1200). On the laptop with the higher resolution the display
is ok. However, on the NEC monitor many of our web pages (but not all)
require a scroll bar to see the entire width of the web page.

Why do some of our web pages display 100% of the width and others require a
scroll bar? Is there any way to have all web pages display 100% of width w/o
scroll bar?

Thanks, Cecil:)

It's just as we mentioned. The image and the table content in the first page
stretch it beyond the boundaries of the window.

You must have fixed it, as I looked at both and see no horizontal scroll. My
display is set to 1024x768, but I also simulated an 800x600 window and it
was fine.
