Screen capture and MM

Hi all, yet another queston

I usually need to generate videos based on some process that I perform
in Windows. I have been using Media Encoder 9 for this, specifically the
Screen Capture option. I am basically satisfied with the results, but I wonder
if there is another screen capture software that will produce better quality
results. I have heard of CamStudio for example or perhaps some other.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

WME is best value, as it's free.
Camtasia is good, but not cheap.

I was aware of that, just adding the two products I have had experience of,
but camstudio will be on my list next
