Screeching music

i ahve a problem no and again, wiy=th mp3's off the net.
when i open the mp3, it plays some of the song as usual,
but some times , a high pitch scrrehcing noise cuts out
some of the song.....whats that all about, is it sum sort
of copyrifght protection? or is just that i need a sort
codec to play them without the loud screeching noise.????

The RIAA and their chimps deliberately flood the filesharing networks with
fake files such as these when a CD is first released. Try searching for the
same tunes in a week or two and you'll find that these fake files are less
prevalent.
