I would like to know if anyone has a fix for scratches in the non glare
coating on a video monitor? Grand kids got at it I think.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Sorry you are out of luck. Monitors have a non-glare and
anti-static coating. The coating is added to the face via a
spin coat process. The CRT is held face up and spun.
A few drops of anti glare coating is applied to the center of
the screen. The centrifugal force spreads the coating evenly
along the surface of the screen. Unfortunately there is
not way to fix scratches short of replacing the CRT itself.
Never use abrasive, or glass cleaner containing highly
concentrated ammonia or strong base chemicals. They will
damage the anti glare coating and make things worse.
