Scrabble v 2.0 will not run in WinXP SP2--gives a black screen. It ran okay
in SP1. How can I get this fixed?? This is a new Dell computer and came
with SP2 already installed. Microsoft says it cannot be uninstalled.

Correct, SP2 cannot be uninstalled. And it's really not something you'd
want to do anyway.

Is this the Scrabble game by Atari or NimmerSoft?

Either way it's probably a good idea to try updating your video drivers,
these can most likely be downloaded from Dell's website. More information
on updating drivers at http://windows.dasmirnov.net/guides/drivers.php
that'll be the first thing I'd recommend to try.

My Scrabble 2.0, Red box won't work either on my NEW DELL Demension 2400
WITH XP AND SP2! We ALL know that SP2 IS the culprit! Because Scrabble also
worked on my OLD DEL:L with ONLY SP1! I have tried your runin '95 or '98 mode
it didn't work! I have updated my Direct X to 9.xx! I have upgraded my
Graphics Intel 82845G also. NONE of these work!! So what can we do!!??? This
IS the only game I play! I DON'T play it online!

HELP, TedXP
