You are Captain Aceveda hahahahah, I am just kidding of course!! Do you watch "The Shield"? You and Aceveda are a lot alike

you changed teh web page (http://kjmsolutions.com/datasetarray.htm) but it still is not understandable. In fact it is even worse now

You are pretending to be a programmer on their? Who really does the work? I bet you haven't got a single job from that have you?

How is that going to help as a stupid reply to an absolutely stupid posting?
I don't know the history behind this feud, but it doesn't help either of
you. Take it elsewhere if it has to be!

The history of this feud can be found here:

http://www.google.com/groups?safe=o...es.vb&as_uauthors=IAmIronMan&lr=&num=50&hl=en

If you read that you'll see that Scorpion provided help on how to transfer
data to an Excel spreadsheet.

Mr. IronMan was upset that he could not just "cut and paste" the complete
code and began immediately ripping into Scorpion.

Scorpion has been toe to toe with this guy and I'm sure his nerves are at
the breaking point.

If you'll read the history, you'll understand scorpion's frustration with
this guy.

I might be able to understand his position alright, but that doesn't change
the fact that the posts don't belong here, and two wrongs don't make a
right...

I know what it is like to feel righteous, and think that you are above all
that nonsense that people do in newsgroups. I used to think that way.

I used to believe that the best thing to do with people like IAmIronMan is
to ignore them and they go away. But here is the problem with that logic.

If you look over google the references to me are usually in the same line as
"thief" "bastard" and such thanks to this person. We have what are known as
reputations which we get over time. Good ones (like Bill, Herfried, Cor,
Armin etc) take a long time to build.

It takes very very little time to destroy it however. I don't relish the
idea of a client doing a web search on me and seeing this especially if
there is nothing to rebut what he is saying because it looks like I didn't
fight it so therefore I must be guilty as the reasoning goes no matter how
far it is from the truth. There are more references to IAmIronMan's
allegations of me being a thief then there are of any positive work I have
done. That is not right and in the real world I would have had recourse
against him. Here I do not other than to go on record defending myself
especially if no one has stepped forward

Hi Scorpion,

We try to ignore him: my advice, do just like us.
(I can tell you that it is not always easy)

There is no need to answer this, when you want, you can do that in another
thread not in the top where I am in involved with OT.

I can certainly understand your frustration with this guy, but I still
firmly believe its better to ignore him. I see your point about a client
seeing his "creative" writing about you, but I think it says a lot more
about him than it does about you. Heck, I'd want to say what I really think
of the guy had it been me, including using some language that is definitely
not desirable in the newsgroups, but I just don't think it's worth it.

Hey, .NET royalty i'm certainly not, but I've been around since day one with
..NET.

Sceppa's and my book are quite different and mine covers a fair bit more,
whereas Sceppa's is more detailed in some areas. I like Sceppa's book; it's
little more to the point, and as a matter of fact, I'll be doing an advanced
ADO.NET 2.0 book for MS Press that takes over, where Sceppa's next ADO.NET
book ends.

Carsten is the man, no doubt about it. Actually, this is probably the only
time I've ever disagreed with him. Ignoring him didn't work before and I
doubt it will now. So it's a matter of having enough evidence to go to the
authorities Again over this a-hole.

And the whole captian America thing... how lame. He's more like the Gimp in
Pulp Fiction than captain america.

I sent you a reply as well... I hate to see this crap happening to you my
man and if you ever need a reference or anything, you know my email address.

Cheers,

Bill

And to think I was merciful......I should have listened to you last time and
nailed him to the wall when I had the chance.

LOL!!!

Now thats comedy... Whoever said coders weren't funny just was too simple to
get our humor. Well done bill.=)

I personally don't understand why you respond to him as well. I understand
the flaming thing, and your right to defend yourself, but if you actually
help him... cmon...

=)

Plus, I liked your article. Sure, it needs work, but who ever wrote
perfection? Codeing... 1Billion ways to do one task... =)

peace out home slice.
