Schema Editing

In Win2003 - IIS FTP, you can assign each user to a
specific folder within the FTPRoot. (MS Doc. Isolating
FTP Users.)

In the Doc, it states that you must edit the schema to
include msIIS-FTPDir and msIIS-FTPRoot in the user class.
The link in the doc on how to accomplish this is broken.
I have tried several ways to get the attribute to show up
in AD Users & Computers, but can't make it work. Anyone
know how to do this?

Thanks,

Jason

Hello Jason,

It says here that it should be part of Windows 2003:

FTP Server Isolate users

Here is a link to the Iisftp.vbs: IIS FTP Site Management Script as well:

Jason, you may also want to change the subject of this post and post to an
IIS forum.

Buz,

While my problem is IIS security, the solution as
outlined by the MS Doc I referenced is a Schema edit,
which is AD. I have everything done, just need to extend
the Schema - User class - to include the 2 IIS
attributes. So my question still stands, anyone know how
to cleanly extend the schema?

Jason
