Scheduling reminders on appointments etc.

When I schedule an appointment in my 2nd Calendar, I get the message "the
reminder for Dr. Felton will not appear because the item is not in your
calendar or tasks folder. Sometimes I can schedule reminders and it works.
I cannot understand why it does not work all the time. The only clue I have
is possibly it is not recognizing my 2nd Calendar and 2nd address book where
I have the Contact entry. Please help

Normally only the primary calendar will fire reminders unless you use a tool
like the one here:
