scheduling print jobs for off hours...not specified time length delay

Current setup consists of w2k server functioning as printserver, multiple hp mfp 9000's and other hp laserjet printers

What is desired is to be able to send large print jobs to the printer to be queued until after hours when there are no other users processing jobs to the equipment. I've "spoken" with HP, and their advice was to investigate JetCAPS or Blue Lance...regardless of the fact that the latter appears to be an IT outsourcing company, it seems to me that either the server OS or the printer "OS" should be capable of handling this sort of task

Has anyone encountered this previously

Thank you.

In Windows NT/2000/XP you can specify the time the printer is available.
Just create an additional printer queue for your out of hours jobs pointing
to the same port as the main queue. In the printer properties under the
advanced tab you can set the available time.

Once you have done this jobs can be queued to the out of hours printer but
they will not get released until the appropriate time.
