Scheduling parts of a conference room

We have recently installed a movable partition in our conference room
that splits the room into two smaller conference rooms. Up until now,
we had a mailbox setup for users to schedule the conference room which
was working well. Now I realize that we are going to have to allow
users to schedule either half of the conference room or the whole
thing if they need it. But if someone reserves half of the conference
room, that should make the option for reserving the whole conference
room unavailable during that time. Likewise, if someone books the
whole conference room for a period of time, it should make the two
smaller rooms unavailable.

Does anyone out there have a good solution for doing this? I thought
about setting up three different accounts for "Conference Room",
"Small Conference 1" and "Small Conference 2". But how do I link them
all together so that they aren't double booked?

Thanks in advance,

Tim

You'll need to make the room 2 rooms. Then when 1 is booked, the other is
free but no-one can book the whole (2 rooms) thing with the partition folded
away. Many of my clients do this - your users just have to get used to
knowing how it will work.
