Hello,

We are finally switching over and using Outlook to
schedule meetings. Our secretaries will be able to
schedule meetings for us. If a secretary schedules a
meeting on my behalf, the meeting entry automatically gets
put into my calendar. I was wondering if there was a way
to receive a notification that the meeting was scheduled.
Otherwise, they could schedule meetings on my behalf and I
might not ever know it.

Thanks.
Dan

As a secretary with expert meeting skills, I don't know of an auto. way to notify the organizer... but 1) if you are set to automatically delete blank voting/meeting replies, you won't see people responding which is one way you can be notified... g to Tools/Options/Preferences/Email Options/Tracking Options and un-click "delete blank voting and meeting responses after processing" 2) keep a close eye on your calendar daily 3) enhance verbal or email communication with your secretary; maybe set boundaries that she or he must notify you via email or phone when they schedule a meeting.

you could have her put you as an attendee too and then
you would get the message. just a suggestion
