Scheduling meetings for a group

Im sure this question has come up before, so sorry in
advance.

Is there any way to allow someone to schedule a meeting
for a number of people (say 6) without being a part of
that meeting too? I rather not setup a calendar delegate
for everyone in the group if I could help it.

Open Outlook
Right click on your top level folder in your mailbox
(The one that starts with Outlook today - ...)
Select NEW FOLDER...
Type a name like OTHER PEOPLES MEETINGS
In the "Folder Contains" box select APPOINTMENT ITEMS

Then the next time you make an appointment for
someone else, Open the OTHER PEOPLES MEETINGS
calendar folder and make your meetings from that calendar.

You will receive a message that because this is not your
default calendar the appointment responses will not be tallied.
This means that as people accept or decline these meetings
the attendee availability information will not be recorded in
the meeting.

This also allows you to make changes to the meeting if
necessary.
