Jon,
It has the same limitations as the built-in defragmenter. You also might
consider a vbs script that "schedules" the built-in defragmenter by running
the MMC interface for the built-in and sends the appropriate keystrokes to
begin defragmenting a drive, waiting for it to complete and then closing the
MMC interface. You might also consider something like AutoDefrag -
http://www.morphasys.com/autodefrag - which essentially does what I have
described.
However, don't be surprised if you aren't happy with the final
defragmentation results if you use something that is based off of the
built-in defragmenter (AutoDefrag, vbs script) or the defrag tool written by
this person. Take a look at the limitations. Make sure that you have
plenty of free space on the drive and that the free space is contiguous (the
size of your largest file or greater).
There is a reason that commercial defragmenters exist and are very popular -
they do a far better job of defragmenting.
