When attempting to schedule a task it ask for a password at the end of
process. It says the task will not run if a password is not entered. So, I
make up a password and enter it and then I get a message that says "Specfic
Error 0X80070005"
As the only user of the computer I don't normally use passwords so there is
no other password in the computer if is looking one.
Instructions in the Help file are not very specfic and don't seem to help.
What am I doing wrong.
I am trying to schedule Diskkeeper to defrag and WinFax Pro to start and run
at specfic times.

You will have to add a password to your account or create another account
that has a password ans use that account for scheduled tasks.

Thanks for the tip. Guess I won't be able to schedule...don't want to get
involved with another password.
Another stupid Microsoft oversight a-hum undersight :-)

It is for security. Malware could schedule itself to install with the task
scheduler and gain elevated privileges. It is not an oversight. It's very
easy to create an account just for scheduled tasks. If you don't use it for
anything else and you forget the password it can easily be changed from any
administrator account.

Thanks for clarification.
