just had the same problem, that is scheduled tasks quit
running. here's what i did... go into the task, go to
properties, then re-enter the password you use to log on.
worked for me!

I've had the same problem (with the same resolution of re-entering the
password for the scheduled task) for a couple of years now on many of
my systems. Some are NT Server, some are Win2K. Service pack levels
don't seem to matter as this has happened to me during daylight
savings time changes over the past 2 years.

If anyone has a permanent fix for this, please post it. Thanks.

Well...at least I don't feel alone now. I have had this
same issue on several of my machines out in our field
offices. We run a production system on our win2k pro
workstations out in the field that relies on scheduled
tasks to connect to our vpn and replicate their data.
Twice a year, without fail, at the time change, these stop
working.I have to go into scheduled tasks, reset
passwords, then they are fine. any ideas?

Thanks,
Dee

I know this is an older topic, but we had the same type of problem, and found it to be the file system. If the scheduled tasks resides on a FAT file system, it seems to fail at the time change. By converting the FS to NTFS, the problem seems to go away. Hope this can help
