scheduled tasks unable to start

I keep creating scheduled tasks but they alway wind up being unable to
start. Any ideas why that might be? It's not that the machine is off at the
scheduled times cuz it's usually on.

Can you start them when you are logged on? If so, try
having them use your logon authentication to run.. Maybe
they are being run under a user without the proper admin
permisions. Is anything showing up in your logs as
errors?
