I am trying to start a scheduled tasks (Defrag_all2.vbs)but when I start one I get this
error message:

"The new task has been created but may not run because the account information could not
be set"
"0x800700005 Access is denied. Try using the task page browse button to locate the
application"

What does this mean? I did use the browse button, I think this happened because I didn't
enter a password.

I tried to enter a password which I don't have one on this system and got the same
message.

I really don't want to use passwords if I can get away with it. If I put in a password do
I have to sign in every time I startup Windows?

Have a good day!

Hi Roberto,
Thanks for the reply.
How do I go to get this information besides going to Microsoft.com?
Is there a Knowledge base number?

Hi Roberto,

I found it but it seems complicated. I don't know how to back up the registry yet.
I have to do some more reading.

Thanks for your help.
