Scheduled Scans

John

I gave up scheduling scans when MS gave us the 2nd Beta
download. The inablity to schedule any time after 11.00AM
occurred from this "update". I now run my Antispyware
Programmes when I have finished on the 'net. You would
think that MS could have solved this problem before the
615 download but they haven't, so I will carry on as
before which is no problem at all. It also means that the
Scans are not done before I have finished on the 'net and
therefore hopefully not missing any Spyware. All my
cookies are killed when I close my browser so I don't have
to scan them.

HI

Well, the major benefit with MSAS is that
you have a strong real time protection for all
Windows components involved in networking.

MSAS, Firewall and updated antivirusprogram gives you
a strong protection with no need for daily scans.

You don´t need to scan your PC to death...... ;)

Perhaps once a week after new defs arrives.

And most important you know that if you click on
anything "For Free" this is dangerous !

Hello John,

Go to start/Control Panel/Country settings
Change Language to US Inglisch.
Close with OK or Apply
Open MSA change all your time settings the way you wont.
Then go back to set your default Language.
MSA will scan and update on the right time!

Hi Tom,
Have tried various "fixes" before and I found that the one
you suggested doesn't work either Yes,MAS does accept PM
times but only while you have US English applied, as soon
as you revert to UK English MAS Schedule Times default
back to AM. I refuse to waste anymore time on
this "problem" so will sign off now!
