I have a web site hosted on a certified FrontPage service provider. The
provider is using Windows servers and supports all versions of FrontPage.
On my web site I am attempting to use Scheduled Include Pages. My
understanding of this technology is that at the appointed date and time
defined for inclusion, the server should add the external file content when
the page is served to the viewer; and conversely when the date and time
expire, the external file content should disappear.
Unfortunately this technology does not seem to work for me.
What I find is that, if the scheduled include time is active at the time I
publish to the web or save the page (if I'm editing directly in the web),
then the content shows up; if it is outside the scheduled include time when
save or publis, the content does not show up.
Have I misunderstood how this technology is supposed to work, or is there a
problem with my provider's support of this feature.
All help will be appreciated.
