Scheduled backup

Hi

How can I schedule a daily backup for a selected files from C: drive onto
drive E: (which is an external backup drive)? I am OK with Backup in xp but
don't know how to schedule it.

One thing to note is that many scheduled tasks will by default NOT run if
there is no password on the user account.

Account passwords are default requirements of the Windows Task Scheduler,
and this Scheduler is used by a lot of software.

You can change this, but it is cutting a security hole to do so.

Most computers come with some form of burning software installed - like
Nero - do you not have that.
Backup is about all these free progs will do.

Unless there are an exceptionally large number of files (that are spread
out among many directories) a batch file would work just fine for
something like this.
