Hi,

I would like to be able to schedule a program to launch certain urls on
launch say a weekly basis. Anyone come across any software that you can do
that with?

Thanks a lot,

Cheers - Tom.

How about the task manager that comes with Windows?
Never used it myself, it's the first thing I turn off after a
re-install of the OS.
Surely a shortcut dragged into it would do the job...?

I have to say I had a similar attitude to you about the scheduler but
recently I decided I just was not remembering to run ad-aware and spybot
frequently enough on my machine for my liking so I used the xp scheduler to
run weekly and I have to say it works great.

I just tested your suggestion passing a command line url to my browser,
mozilla firebird, and it worked a peach! From firebird one can drag an url
to the desktop and from there drag to the scheduler but the scheduler will
require the shortcut to run...but creating on oneself is not a big deal.

Great heads up Steve. nice thinking,

Cheers, Tom.
