For your information.

Unable to set the start time to 12.35 PM
As soon as i push the update schedule buttom, the time is
set to 0.35 PM.
OS = XP Pro NL. Perhaps the it has something to do with
our 24 hour time registration.

Yes, this does seem to relate to the 24 hour time scheme. If you are able
to shift to a 12-hour scheme, I believe this will work around this bug.

I have just updated to latest version and I am now having
the same problem. Numerous attempts to set time to 22:10
fail, always defaults to 10:10. Until I set it to monthly
when it went to 03.00 or something like that. Was not a
problem with initial installation which has run trouble
free for several months. I think I'm going to roll back to
earlier version!

I don't know of any substantial downside to going with .509, unless you
prefer a vertical taskbar, or find a lot of spyware that breaks the LSP
stack on your machine.

Andre Da Costa says the settings work for him using a 24 hour time scheme,
so it is more subtle than 12 versus 24--perhaps the specific locale or
timezone matter. It'd be nice to pin this down so we can give minimally
disruptive advice about a workaround, but I'm not gonna be able to work on
it soon.

I give up with the scheduler. It just won't work at all
either weekly or monthly for me. This is a serious bug
and needs to be fixed ASAP as it is very frustrating. As
well, I don't think that it scans enough files as it only
seems to scan approx. 25% of all my files. Thanks for
listening.

FWIW, my current vague understanding of scheduling issues with build 614 are
that resetting language to US English should fix them. Anybody got evidence
to the contrary. The download site prominently features the requirement of
English only, although I don't think it further specifies the American
dialect.

The issue of how many files are scanned has come up repeatedly. I've seen
several reports that the new buld scans fewer files than previous ones. I
don't know the explanation for that. I do know that the product shines in
comparitive reviews--so my fallback statement, in the absence of specific
knowledge of how they decide what to scan and what not to--is that clearly
they are scanning "enough."

There is a simple answer to this problem, Change the windows setting from the
24hr clock to the 12hr clock, In windows xp, go to control panel, double
click regional settings then click on customize then on time tab and change
the time format to 12hr settings using the small hr and minute letters, apply
then ok close everything down restart antispyware set the time you need and
thats it, Done

I have a similar problem with the latest version 1.0.701. If i set the
scheduled scan time to 10:00 it changes the scan time to 112:00AM. If I set
it to 12:00 it changes to 00:00. Anytime from 13:00 onwards revderts to the
AM equivalent. I can't set any PM times for schedules scans.

Dave solution applies to your afternoon issue. There is no fix for the
10:00 am issue in beta1--however, it is merely visual--the scan does work at
10:00 AM--that was my standard scan time for that product.

You can eliminate this issue by updating to Windows Defender, the new name
for beta2 of Microsoft Antispyware via this download:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en

It will replace the version you have installed--just run the download.
