Schedule expiration date

I want to use PowerPoint to run a news board in a Kibbutz
(it will be display on many TVs through the cables
system). It should run in a loop.
Is it possible to make a slide expire on a certain date?

I have forgate to mention that I am using PwerPoint 2000.
