Hi,

How to do this:

My boss asks me to send out an email on Friday. I have finished writing the
email.

How to schedule that email?

Thanks...

your problem may be solvable using...
View: Options: Do not send before
I don't think this will work if your computer is off at the time of desired delivery. I wish there was a way to use Microsoft Exchange Server to schedule the send. That way we could shut down and it would go as planned. Oh well.

This will work even when your computer is off as the message is stored on
the Exchange server

I'm in the same boat. I would like an email to go out Monday morning at
8am but I don't get to the office till 8:30. How can I accomplish this? If I
change the Do Not Deliver Before fields and Send it, will that accomplish my
goal? Also, I'd like to turn the computer off over the weekend and let
Microsoft Exchange Server deliver the message on time if that's possible.

Thanks for the help.

How to cancel then?

Thanks Roady.

One more question:
I found the email being sent out marked the time as when I clicked 'send'.

When the user replies my email, they can see it.

Is it possible to sync the sent time to the schedule time?

Hi Lionel

You can't by using this manner. Actually the option says it already; "do not
deliver before" and not "do not send before". It's a language thing but in
this case it's very well chosen because the time the message is send is when
you hit the send button ;-)

There are other ways to schedule a mail and an easy one is by using an
Add-in by Sperry Software;
http://www.sperrysoftware.com/Outlook/Schedule-Recurring-Email.asp?Source=RS

The Add-in is originally designed to schedule recurring mails but since it
also creates the message at the time of occurence the time the message gets
send is the same as when you scheduled it to be send.

If you decide to order use "BH93RF24" to get a discount
