I am working on an XP station that was having resource
issues. I opened task manager and found that schedsvr.exe
was using between 60-80% of the processor. I killed the
process and removed it from the msconfig. After rebooting
the station was running it again. Does anyone know what
service is loading that exe. The only hit I've found on
any web-site has a vague explanation that it has something
to do with java and internet servers. I could not find any
service that appeared similar. Does anyone know what the
file is and what service loads it?
