Sched tasks

Moving new user to a pc. Changed name for only admin acct; PC name, etc.

all is ok, except Sched asks pops up with OLD acct name in password
request.

Ran Kelly's "run w/o PWD" didn't help.

any suggestions?

pc is fully updated.

Delete the old task, then create a new one.

deleted all old tasks. and it's asking for pwd showing old account
owner???

You need to tell us what your scheduled task is supposed
to do. Note that scheduled tasks are meant to be run in
the background under their own dedicated account, so it's
rather unclear why you should see a password challenge
in the first place.

defrag and spybot.

in the "Run As" it shows the oldcomputername/deleteduseraccount.

so, if I edit the whole line with the new info, I get "unable to
establish the existence of account specified."
