HELP! Why would this dynamic link library NOT be on my W2K domain
controller?

In following the instructions in the following KB:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;822798
I find that this server does not have sccbase.dll, hence my question.

I have having issue with microsoft update not working. I believe this is do
to one of our techs deleting expired certificates from the server (see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;834438 ). He got
over zealous and delete any that where expired, one or two of which where
issued from Microsoft. I have since re-installed those certificates,
however, this has not made any difference.

Also, becuase of this issue we are not unable to use Visual Studio's Web
Permissions feature to assign Users/Groups/Computers to an application or
site. It worked fine prior to this screw-up. The error we now see:
Permission failure. Server error: Error occured while retreiving the list of
users from the system. ( The following article was not helpful:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301544 )

I am desprite for some guidance in order to fix this issue. All and any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Johan.

Well ignor the sccbase.dll issue. AFTER search elsewhere other than the
