I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and found something about user migration
options "USMT" which uses 2 commands in the command prompt "scanstate" and
"loadstate" but i can't use them, it says they are not recognized, is a there
a special path where i can run them?? ...let's say C:\Windows\system32 ...??
or maybe i'm all wrong and that tool is not even used like that, i don't
know, could someone help me please?????

Thanks :)

Hi,

Have you installed the User State Migration Toolkit (USMT)? The two commands
you list are options that tell usmt whether to scan the current computer's
state and store it somewhere, or load a previously saved state from a backup
file.

Cheers
Ken
