I'm running Word 2002 SP3 and want to be able to scan a document
directly from my scanner to word. It's forcing me to scan 1 page at a
time. My scanner has a page feeder... I'd obviously like to use it.
Any ideas?

Hi
Just wanted to confirm if when selecting scanner using the Office tools -
office document scanning , you enabled the ADF feature by checking the
checkbox
Start - Office - Office tools - office doc scanning- scan new document -
scanner - choose scanner....select the scanner connected...and enable "use
an automatic document feeder (ADF),".

Hope this helps
regards

Thanks so much! I did get word to work (kind of) but all images scanned
to one page. Your way is much cleaner.

OK, I am scanning double sided documents. I was scanning one side to
one file, the other to another and then merging the two documents to
one. I decided to try and let the software do it. It scans the one
side of a 20+ page document fine and prompts me to turn it over. I do
that and click continue and it scans the first page. It stops and
prompts me for the sencond page. I click continue and it prompts for
the thirds, etc. It isn't detecting that there are multiple pages in
the feeder after I turn the dicument over. Any ideas?
