"scanpst" on XP Pro

How do I disable "scanpst". I was changing my folders
settings and accidently activated it. Now when I attempt
to open a folder, scanpst engages looking for a .pst
folder. I found the program in the operating system but
do not know how to disable the .exe command. Thanks in
advance for any advice.

Maybe you should try reposting this on an Office newsgroup. The scanpst
program is part of Outlook, used to repair outlook.pst files.
