Scanning

After my hard drive was replaced, I downloaded all
software again. Now, when I try to scan documents or
photos, I get an error message (0x80210001) that item
cannot be scanned. Never had this before, what's the
answer to my dilemma.
 
Just a question. You said you re-installed software, Do
you need to re-install any drivers for the scanner?
