How can I scan a document into Word so that it can be edited. My usual
programme for scanned items is MGI Photosuite - but I can't work out how to
get something into Word that is editable.

Thanks

You need O(ptical)C(haracter)R(ecognition) software.

Recent Word versions have a rudimentary OCR software function called
Document Imaging (in Office Tools), otherwise you need a third\party OCR
package. I particularly like Finereader.
