I have a HP Scanjet 4370 scanner that I just got on ebay. I wanted it
for scanning slides, and it has a built in TMA that does 2 at a time.
The first 10 or so times I used it, it worked fine and separated the 2
images from the slides so you just saw the image, not the slide mount.
Then all of a sudden it is generating one image that shows both
slides, in their mounts. I can't see any setting to change to make it
go back to generating 2 images. I tried rebooting the computer. Hope
someone can help, I have a lot of slides to scan...

I don't know how the slides are placed on the scanner's glass, but usually
there needs to be some blank space between the two slides for the software
to detect the separation.

My Canon needs about 1/8" or more to detect two pictures on the glass.
