I have an Epson GT-5500 scanner and have a port on the back of my tower that
fits the connecting cable, but it has a printer symbol next to it. So I took
a chance and plugged it in there seeing that there wasn't anything else I
could use.
But I can only power the scanner on if I pull lead back out. Is this
because this port is stricly for a printer, and if so does this mean I have
to buy a USB compatible scanner instead.
thanks in advance
