I got a new computer system an unable to get my hp 3200c
scanjet scanner to work with my windows xp. I have
ordered the cd updated driver but still doesn't work. I
get the message: open fail PPSCAN.VXD along with an
error message ending with: hpprsclt.exe.mdmp and:
appocompat.txt. Can someone help?

The problem is the driver as PPSCAN.VXD is a -Windows 98- driver
NOT a Windows XP driver. Download the CORRECT --XP-- driver from
HP's web site.
