I was recently given a Visioneer 3300 scanner from my grandmother after she
purcased a new one. It worked perfectly well in her house, since I used it a
lot. She had windows XP, I have XP, and she showed me how to install it.
When I get to the installing part, it says "C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.
The system is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
Applications. "
Then I either have to ignore, or close the instillation. Is there any way
for me to just get this scanner to install? I don't understand what the
computer is talking about with the sys 32 thing, I've very computer
illiterate. All I want to do is scan a picture, I never thought it'd be so
frustraiting.
Thank you! -Cass
