I'm not talking about the setup wizard, I'm talking about the user-friendly,
all encompassing Fax and Scanner Wizard that was in XP. A user could preview
a scan, designate dpi, select a file name and a folder location, and
generally get a lot done. Why is this not a feature in VISTA???????? I
have a great scanner with photo capability and document reader functions; it
does include some basic scan options, but was programmed to work best from
the Start, Control Panel, Scanners, Scanning Wizard. One of the reasons I
upgraded a computer was to have more storage for photos and faster processing
time for editing. I guess I have lots of storage space and no way to do my
job a get my photos scanned. I feel like I made a $1100 mistake.
