Scanner Sharing

Two Aces

I have a HP multifunction PSC 2410 and I want to share it with the other
network stations so each station can access the scanner just like how they
can access the printer, How can this be achieved, any help is greatly
appreciated.

Read the Manual, most HP multi-function printer/scanner/fax machines
work over a network. Call HP support.
 
the manual wasn't any help, the HP customer support replied that the scanner
can't be shared over network because it is a two way communication and only
host computer can establish two way communication, this response wasn't
satisfactory to me and that is why I posted this message.

Most scanners can not be networked.

There is software that claims to network scanners.
